Graphite Additive Manufacturing is now offering precision CNC machining services. We can offer precision 5-axis CNC machining in a range of different materials. Almost any material can be used in a CNC machine.
It really depends on the application. Common materials include metals such as aluminium, brass, copper, steel, and titanium, as well as wood, foam, fiberglass, and plastics such as polypropylene, acetal, nylons, PTFE, PEEK, polycarbonate and acrylic.
CNC machining can be a very cost effective way to produce components for functional use where high strength and maximum precision is required. Complex parts normally require several separate machining operations and multiple fixtures on conventional machines but with 5-axis equipment this can be reduced to just one or two operations. Our 5-axis capability can offer lower production costs and faster deliveries due to reduced programming time, machine time and fixturing.
Parts can typically be made in 10-14 days depending on the complexity and batch size.
