We are pleased to now be partnered up with Additive Manufacturing Technologies – a post-processing company who specialise in Vapour Smoothing.

This finishing option takes already high-performance materials, and gives them superior sealing for a various range of demanding applications and we are now able to offer this finishing option to many of our clients.

The process can be applied to a wide range of materials, which include our very own MJF PA12, Graphite SLS and Carbon SLS. But it doesn’t stop there. Many other parts that have been built from other, mainly nylon, based materials can also be smoothed.

AMT’s proprietary Boundary Layer Automated Smoothing Technology (BLASTTM Process) works in reducing lead times, the manufacturing costs and the operational and maintenance costs. The technology is highly controllable, which allows for reproducible results without the degradation of the parts’ mechanical properties.
